On Tuesday, September 9th, 2008, 15+ Georgia elected officials and current political candidates from all levels of government, and 200+ metro Atlanta citizens convened for one reason - The Political Party, a non-partisan, get-out-the-vote initiative and political networking event.

Event highlights included words from elected officials and candidates, free appetizers, specialty drinks, and true political dialogue. With an upcoming Atlanta mayoral election in 2009, and a historic presidential election in the next few months, The Political Party aimed to increase political awareness, civic involvement, voter registration, and overall citizen participation.

The Political Party was a huge success! No matter what party affiliation, we met several Atlantans inspired to put Atlanta first and make a change. The Political Party aims to get you involved! We look forward to providing more events like this to the Atlanta/Georgia community.
